Across more than a decade behind the camera he has built a body of work defined by a cinematic eye, technical command and a storyteller's instinct, from a breakout festival film to broadcast commercials for some of the world's most recognisable brands.
The film that started it all
His debut short film, The Jigsaw (2014), written with his brother Basil Al-Safar, won awards and earned official selections at festivals around the world during its 2014 to 2015 run, including Oscar-qualifying festivals. It remains the creative foundation on which Sensa Productions was built.

The journey
In 2017 Rashad founded Sensa Productions and grew it into a global hybrid-AI video production house. The CGI craft of the Jigsaw era now underpins Sensa's hybrid AI work, and by 2024 that approach was proven on the world stage. He has directed 30+ films for the Dubai Police, contributing to their recognition as the world's strongest police brand.
